HAITI Collections WYCLEF been Grindin'!!!!!

PlayCloths & Wyclef Jean have collaborated to design this tee that features the Haitian Flag in which 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund. In order to actually stop and ACTUALLY get the funds to Haiti, it started friday and the offer ends on January 22nd. Get yours before they are gone!

Up next, we have the Earthkeepers collection, a series of 16 boots designed by Wyclef in which a portion of the proceeds gets donated to Yele Haiti, these were actually set for release back in November but at any rate I found the information interesting. That is one man you cannot doubt has made it big but definitely STILL knows where his heart is and has a DEEP love for his country.

STOP THE SQEAKING!

An interesting article I found via a new follower on twitter.

Got Squeaky Jordans?

If you don’t wear your Jordans because they squeak, pay special attention to this story. The other day this Jordan collector put an ad on Craiglist to sell his Bred Retro Jordan IVs that released back in 1999. He rated them at a 9/10, but the price was only $150… Sounds way too good to be true, right? After doing some digging around, we learned that he’d kept the shoes in his closet for the last 10 years, Deadstock, but when he broke them out on New Years day, they squeaked everytime he took a step. Being the true sneakerheads that we are, JordanDepot gave him some priceless advice that saved him from selling off his Jays and making a huge mistake. Granted, this isn’t breaking news – many sneaker aficionados already know this – but for those that don’t, take note:

To fix your squeaky sneakers, remove the insole from the shoe, and pour a decent amount of baby powder in the bottom. Shake your shoe from left to right, making sure that the baby powder coats the entire bottom inside the shoe. Once the baby powder makes its way through all the cracks and crevices in the shoe, tilt the toe up so that the excess baby powder collects at the heel, and dump that out. Replace the insole, and continue to rock your OG and Retro Jordans on ninja status.

Dont Get in a Clash with your Converse

Behold the Chuck Taylor tribute to rockband "The Clash". My personal favorites are the black and white pairs, plain, simple design with a small graphic that does overtake the shoe unlike the red pair and the brown.....well it just kind of look like someone doo-dooed on a sneaker lol, and the random buttons, I guess that's the Rock-N-Roll twist to it. I provide the info, you be the judge.

I want to REVIVE some HellRaisers

So I've come up with a new weekly feature that I'm going to start employing, I'm going to TRY to post at LEAST ONE custom a week that I believe is amazing. As for the shoe itself, you can come up with your own opinion. This week I present to you the HELLRAISERS made my custom artist REVIVE. They come complete with the metal chains and feature a bit of artistic detail at the heel and behind the swoosh. A WORK OF ART INDEED.

Not Your Everyday Treehouse.....

An Observatory to be constructed in Seongram, Korea O_O!

BBC

new samples....iLL or TERRIBLE?

Personally, I think this is a GOOD look, because the safari design does NOT overtake the shoe, just compliments the other colors....watDOyouTHINK?

University Dunk Hi Pack

During the Summer of 2010, Nike plans to release a "revised" version of the infamous "Be True To Your School" series of the 90's, a collection like this was released a few years back in 2005 but with suede as opposed to the original leather which proved to be a minor disappointment to those who loved the originals. THIS version features leather, to the average sneakerhead/collector these may look a bit like a general release (GR) but if you know the history, you know these are a gem. You make the call.....

New Heat from Vans

Spring 2010 Grey Pack feat. Chukka, Chukka Low, SK8-Hi, and Authentic (many people will be surprised to find that Vans makes other shoes besides Authentics & Eras smh)

Next up are the AV6 which are actually the fusion of Old Skool and the Era, two shoes made famous by skater Anthony Van Engelen, he's previously made 6 models of this particular shoe but I'd have to say this one is one of my favorites...

The first two are the chukka and era models from the Herringbone pack & the 2nd are the Black Denim Pack that features the slip-on and era models.
