Medusa Nike Dunk High by Diversitile

During the end of last year we created a shoe that was based off the Titan Gorgon Medusa. It was an idea we have had for the longest. Those of you that went to the Clash of the Customizer even, you saw them. We wanted to create a shoe with multiple textures and things to keep the eye moving. To start, most of the shoe has a stony cracked texture to represent the shoe being turned into stone. Followed by fire red Nike swooshes to break up the dull grey panels. Towards the back we wanted to put some type of visual imagery of Medusa herself. Her eyes are made of real red sapphires, along with the figure we created on the box. Medusa’s snakes have a sleek textured feel to them as well complementing the had stony texture of the toe. The inside of the box is lined with crushed velvet like material and is a sturdy home for the Gorgon themed dunk.

a PLUM of a Puma

These started out as a pair of limited edition lavender Easter Clydes from 2006. The concrete paint along with the deep plum laces combine to make these amazing customs. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Nike has been SBTGed

Infamous custom kick designer SBTG's latest creation are these dunks, made for the "Flying Tigers", an American volunteer fighter squadron from the 1940s. They are made to look like vintage fighter planes with all the minor details from the shark teeth and eyes around the toebox to the metal vents, bullet hole impressions, flying tiger, Chinese characters and military symbols. ONCE again another classic from SBTG

I want to REVIVE some HellRaisers

So I've come up with a new weekly feature that I'm going to start employing, I'm going to TRY to post at LEAST ONE custom a week that I believe is amazing. As for the shoe itself, you can come up with your own opinion. This week I present to you the HELLRAISERS made my custom artist REVIVE. They come complete with the metal chains and feature a bit of artistic detail at the heel and behind the swoosh. A WORK OF ART INDEED.

Swapped Sole Foams-Pearl + Black/Red = interesting concept

Here goes another pair of the infamous "swapped" sole customs done by Jason Negron of PackerShoes out of Teaneck, NJ. Not much needs to be said about these the shoes, they speak for themselves. Personally, I'm a fan of foams, not neccesarily anymore because of how they been retro'ed & everybody and they mama has a pair now, but if I had the dough, I'd grab these in a heartbeat...
