Adidas | Samba Schawrz Blau

Being that this year is a World Cup year, there will be many collaborations and special editions created with soccer undertones by the major brands, this special pair of Adidas Sambas are no exception. Considered a classic to those in the soccer world, this shoe is SLOWLY reaching the masses as a casual sneaker because its simple design. This combination is a success because of how the blue stands out but is not LOUD. [Note: the laser etching on the backheel of Herzogenaurach, the German town where sporting goods companies Adidas and Puma were founded by the Dassler brothers]

I'm feelin these for some reason....

Out of the new Adidas Originals Collection for Spring 2010, these Greenstars are another pair of Adidas simply designed, that couped with the right casual outfit can set it off proper. The green does not overwhelm the whole shoe mixed with the white sole and creates a tasteful sneaker.

I'm Currently Feeling....

Darth Vader ZX runners, funny thing is I'm not even a Star Wars fan like talking about....I'm just a fan of the simple design that pays attention to the minor details. DEFINITELY a classic IMO.

Next up, we got the Air Force 1 High QS "Hiker". Obviously inspired by hiker's boots and along with the deep burgundy colorway, its also features a perforated swoosh, gold lace clips, thick boot-like lacing, and boot eyelets. This definitely one of the better designed Air Forces in recent memory...

Next up, we got the Johnny Cupcakes "Valentines Day" T-Shirts. The first red tee features the "Big Kid" mascot acting as cupid with the back carrying the trademark crossbones logo in a little heart. The second white tee is a collaboration with Looney Tunes featuring Pepe LePew catching a whiff of something good cooking in the oven. You can always depend on Johnny Cupcakes for unique, creative design. They have really established themselves as a brand that created a niche and stuck to it rather than cater to the masses....

Undrcrwn actually designed this "AstroDunk" tee in crew form for the SpaceJams, in my opinion, it was the best designed shirt for the shoe because it didn't just look like they just stuck some basic, hurried design on a tee. just my thoughts......

The next one up is Air Jordan "Skyline" tee, paying its respect to the Windy City of Chicago, the Jordan Brand created this shirt that displays a variety of air jordans and boxes in the silhouette of the Chicago Skyline.

If you frequent the blog, you already know how I feel about Structure Triaxs and for some odd reason, this purple colorway has been growing on me, watDOyouTHINK?

Normally I dont like/post G-Shocks but I'm making this ONE exception. PlayCloths have been on a roll as of recent, and this collaboration does not dissapoint....

A couple old releases but definite Classics.

First off, a pair of Torsion Specials GoreTex Editions, done up w/ the mowabb-esque colorways
Next, we have the Vans x Robert Williams Chukkas, yes the wild and crazy English singer got his own Chukkas, you would too if you created a new magazine Juxtaposed for a movement creative consciousness
Urban Hazes (olive & brown, muddy midsole + green speckles = magnifique!) *kisses fingers* lol....reminds me of BRUTs and HULK SBs (hmmm hope that comparison doesn't go on deaf ears) only my TRUE connoiseurs understand the lingo lol

A substitute for those who have had enough of the vans chukka collabos by Keep & Patta

The Clae Kennedy by Stussy & Clae is collaborative beauty.....not sure thats a word but who cares...they illlllllllllllllll

the collaboration between Nike and Maharam the famous textile design company....reminds me of the yarndye STUSSY hoodies the caucasian marijuana smoking hippies used to wear round my way in the early 90s...i know i know mad descriptive and stereotypical, OH WELL shoot me.

The new Patta lovelies.....

Patta AM1 (black/white/gumsole)
Blazer (maharam)
Keep Shaheen x Patta
Clae x Stussy
Vans x Robert Williams
Patta AM1 (white/chlorophyll/grey)
