EVERYBODY should have a pair of Jack Purcells

commonly a prep-style staple that can be found @ stores such as J. Crew, Banana Republic and the Gap, Jack Purcells were the brain-child of its namesake originally designed for to provide more protection and support on badminton courts. Converse then bought the rights to the shoes in the 70's. This collaboration was done by Ian Ginoza, the owner/creator of prestigious St. Alfred boutique out of Chicago for Converse RED line, which helps in AIDS support all over the world.

In a move to shore up public confidence following its stint in bankruptcy court, General Motors on Tuesday unveiled its 2-year product plan for the four core brands: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GM. Included in the Chevrolet news is that production of the C7 Corvette will start in April 2012 for the 2013 model year. GM also added that the Corvette will maintain the front-engine layout that has defined the sports car for 57 years.

This is great news as earlier estimates had pushed back the C7 through 2014. This also means that the Corvette Team will now have the resources and the corporate edict to move full speed ahead on a new design that could see changes to America's sports car that include a smaller, lighter body, greater use of advanced weight-saving materials like carbon fiber, aluminum and magnesium and perhaps a smaller engine but one that will still provide the power-to-weight ratio that Corvette owners have become accustomed to.

Was just talking about this today.

Earlier today, I was sitting around with my two brothers
chilling and talking about life.We got into the topic of music,
you know top 50 naw I am playing. What actually came up
was Kid CuDi's album cover. I had not seen it yet but came
home and checked it out. This people is what I call art , love
the way they structured his head into the moon .Also the
colors that were incorporated, which brought out the detail more.
Here is a little info for those who don't know.Album drops
September 15th, 2009 and is titled Man On the Moon:
The End of Day. Last there will be a standard CD release
and a Deluxe Edition DVD, these both will have different
art work. Check the pics out.

Final concept images have just been released for the 2010 Aston Martin LMV/R (Le Mans Vantage Racer). Only 30 of these race cars for the street will be produced for the world. Following in the footsteps of the Ferrari Scuderia and Stradale and Lamborghini Superleggera, the Elite LMV/R is lighter than the factory Vantage due to most of the body panels being made from carbon fiber. The Scuderia, Stradale and Superleggera were built for the purists who wanted a race car for the street, a more nimble version of the production street car that they were built from. These cars aren't for everybody due to their harsher ride and loud exhaust systems. This is the company that the LMV/R will now be amongst but even more rare and special. The Superleggera's US production was 172 cars, the Ferrari Stradale seen 1,288 examples built and the Scuderia production is supposed to top out at about 1,500 cars. Compare these production numbers to the 30 LMV/R's that will be built and you can see how special and rare the LMV/R will truly be. To take a Vantage and turn it into an LMV/R, many components are used. Here is a list of what comes standard on the LMV/R:

• Carbon fiber body kit consisting of: front bumper with screens, visible carbon canards, visible carbon front splitter, hood, fenders (2" wider), side skirts, side skirt panels, rear quarter panel extensions (2" wider), trunk lid with visible carbon rear wing, rear bumper with visible carbon diffuser
• Matte black 20" wheels and tires for wide body kit
• Lowering springs
• Big Brake kit
• Sport muffler with tips
• Carbon fiber engine bay kit
• Full Alcantara interior
• Carbon fiber interior kit
• Serial numbered plaque (only 30 cars will be produced)
• LMV/R matte black stripes
• Installation and full repaint

All LMV/R's will be assembled in Florida and sent to and from the dealership that sold the car within the US. All LMV/R's will be based on 2010 Vantage's and will be very unique. The customer will order a brand new Vantage in any color offered by Aston Martin with any options. The Vantage is then picked up and sent to Florida where the work will be performed. The exterior can be painted the factory color or a custom color at an additional charge. The interior can be assembled in any color of the customers choosing since all the surfaces will be covered in new Alcantara.

PARRA jus keeps em coming....ANOTHER collabo

Dutch artist PARRA has done it again. this collabo with Nike is for the Maxim 1, he has hit quite a few fine details that sneaker enthusiasts will enjoy:

-glossy swoosh
-a tasteful combination of nylon and suede (carefully done it doesnt overwhelm the whole shoe, like all the FUCKIN jordan retroes of recent)
-red and light blue speckled sole (a staple on many classic shoes)





an all around nice shoe...not the usual AM90 or hybrid combo they been puttin out so its worth the investment in order not 2 look like the rest of your mates...

Something that Caught my eye

Not really a big fan of Air Forces 1's, but going through some sites
I stumbled upon these.New Bespoke Nike Air Force 1, a
unique color way, inspired by some good old strawberry milk.
Naw, just joking around, but this was created from Strawberry
Nesquik LOL. One of the things that pulled me in was the accent
of 3M not to much just on the check and tongue just enough to set it off.

UNION NYC X PEGLEG X GSHOCK COLLABO

Really not a whole lot to say about this one... I personally am really feeling the stars and stripes theme... it has a very 70s, EVEL KNIEVEL-esque feel to it. The details are outrageous even down to the kickflip engraving on the bottom of the watch... i could def rock this... the watch may be a lil old (4th of july i think) but its def worth trying to find....

Just a Quick Update

So, it is true your boy D Wade is Officially with the Jordan
brand as you can see from his pic he put on twitter last
week . I am expecting Jordan was planning this one for
sometime , but glad to see Wade getting some respect in
the sneaker world.Next we got Lebron wearing Retro 9's
in ( White Green and Gold) these were from back when he
was in high school .Must say they are still fresh to bad he
didn't sign with Jordan that would have shut everything down.
